On February 11th, 2010, an opening ceremony was held in the new premises of Save the Children in Kosova/o in Prishtina. On January 1, 2010, Save the Children Sweden took over as lead agency from Save the Children UK. 35-40 guests were invited to the inauguration ceremony – representatives of international non-governmental organizations, ministries, partners and donors, as well as the ombudsperson. The director of Save the Children Sweden International Programme and the regional director of the Europe Programme took active part in the opening ceremony. Today, Save the Children Italy, Save the Children Norway and Save the Children Sweden cooperate in the Kosova/o programme.
