This network was established in 2005, and now has a strong child rights basis for its work . The network is has increased the interest among universities to have child rights as a specific topic and more universities are considering the establishment of a master programme on this subject. In 2008 the European Network of Masters in Children’s Rights has 20 universities as members, from 14 different countries.
