A sister organization to Save the Children Sweden with the aim to promote and protect child rights.
Treat boys and girls alike is the main message of a training for teachers, looking at attitudes and believes regarding child education. Another project trains both teachers and children about the effects of violence and how to protect oneself. Save the Children Sweden Europe Programme and Save the Children Romania also cooperates in training parents in gender issues, positive parenting skills and child participation.
A research centre is also being developed by Save the Children Romania, gathering information and documentation on children’s rights in Romania.
