As one of the leading child rights organisations worldwide, Save the Children Sweden has made education one of its priorities. Based on our experience, as well as on the provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we have developed programmes and advocacy to enhance quality and inclusive education, knowledge on rights and students’ influence.
This overview examines 10 European countries' reports to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, together with alternative contributions from non-governmental organisations. This study is made in the hope to identify national and regional trends worth addressing to promote the rights of all children to education and their fulfilment in Europe.
